How do you get resources in Battle Pirates - Kite, Kite, and kite some more

It took us several months to figure out how to pull in a steady stream of resources and it turned out to be very simple.

1.  Put the best missiles, best range extension, and fastest motors on your 5 fastest ship
1.b.  Build 5 large cargo haulers
2.  Do not put armor on them
3.  Attack 31, 40, 51, and 70 fleets
4.  Stay out of their range while shooting missiles at them
5.  Have the cargo haulers haul away the loot.
6.  Upgrade as they become available

Equipment goals
 - solid rocket boosters 3 (SB3)
 - Range finder 3 (RF3)--bonus will continue to target subs if missiles were in flight when they submerged
 - engine 3
 - Cutlass 3 (Cutlass 4 only if you have room on your ships for them -- see the dps/ton comparison)
 - D53x (Tier 2 missile -- has ok damage but the best range in the game.  We like the "c" version but use what ever you can get.  My Sea Wolves have 2 53s, 2 Cutlass 2, and a Cutlass 1 and it looks like a bridge of missiles heading for the enemy)

Rationale, comments and improvements

There are several very well done sites concerning Battle Pirates already running.  If you're looking to design hulls go to them.  This is just a collection of data we use to determine what sets of weapons "
SHOULD" work with what.  And the big difference between ours and theirs seems to be we take into account the number of salvos.  We also care about DPS/ton.

However we haven't figured out how to compare area of effect (AOE) to direct fire so do not use those numbers as direct comparisons.  The best we done with AOE is to develop a rule that lets us compare AOE to AOE weapons.

If you spot an error, please let us know.  And the same goes with any suggestions for improvement.

Finally, we only put up data we can look at on the screen and aren't uber 60+ coiners.  So if something is missing that's because we haven't seen it yet.
